For the past 6 years we have made a father and son and son and son-in-law trip to the big lake fishing. We have used Haasch Guide Service based on recommendations from my cousin who has been using them for way longer than us. Captain Lee Haasch and his 2nd mate, Tyler, have always been outstanding guides. If we don‘t catch fish for a stretch or two, it’s definitely not from a lack of effort. Lee has been on several local fishing shows and at several fishing expos. We typically will do an evening fish, stay overnight and do a morning fish before we head out of town. All of which we book through Lee, including the Condo which is right next to the marina. This year our morning fish got canceled do to storms. Lee saw the storms coming and offered to stay out on the water late and comp’d us for the hours missed from the morning. We have always caught fish, and two years ago we were two short of our 20 limit and in the morning we met our limit! I highly recommend Haasch Guide Services out of Algoma, WI. Let’s put it this way, my Dad’s philosophy on catching fish is to just go to the local bowling alley for the Friday Fish Fry, but he looks forward to this trip every year!
