If you are looking for the best elk guides in the PA elk range, at driving around in a truck all day, shooting elk from the road and doing anything but actually hunting elk, then these guys are your outfitter! This was proven while I was on my 2017 diy cow hunt in zone 10. Their guides continually drove up and down the same road all day, nonstop, until they could finally get an elk on the open side of the road that their clients could jump out and shoot. Their guides also tried to get me to leave the area, claiming that all of the elk had left the hill before season (obviously not knowing I had done my homework) and two different times they walked out to me stating that they "thought I was one of their guys", ruining the area I was watching. I was shamed by one for planning on shooting a cow out of the herd if big bulls were in it. I finally connected on my cow at about 1:30pm out of a herd that contained a bull that was killed in 2018 (by a real outfitter) and scored well over 400". Pretty sad when the DIY hunter just got off the road and got on the huge bull before them.... Their hunters shot a calf and the smallest bull that I saw in the area, next to the spike I saw. I won't even get into their methods of killing them, because for some reason the officer failed to ever follow up with me on what I reported to him when he checked out my cow and to the officer at the check station. So, if you are looking for a world class drive around the beautiful woods of PA in hopes of a road elk, then have at it with these guys. 👍👍. They asked us the leave a review here on their Facebook page, so I figured I would gladly help.

Well, let's get some same facts here. Your lied that a game warden was never there. FACT!! he was, and cleared the guide of your faults accusations. Second: There has not been an elk taken on that hill in either 2018 or 2019. Look it up. Third: That 400+ class bull you claim was taken up there was not, and was not 400+", not even 375". They took a different bull on the west side of 872 not far from the George Stevenson Dam in 2018. I have photos of that bull from 2018 and 2019 you claim was taken - FACT!!!! Fourth and last FACT, I'm leaving a link to the "real outfitter" as you claim they are which will show the integrity you have shown here in your malicious and deceitful faults accusations. So go ahead and read about a Pennsylvania "real outfitter" Mr. Knapp. https://www.centredaily.com/sports/outdoors/article241363616.html?fbclid=IwAR0JhAGqSKfHSKR2qbZQOTBLo8lvrBC7E8qYn3lu1PFGVd4edzWAozcmI10
You sir are the type of person our sport could do without.
I didn't see you mention the calf that "died" on the closed side and was illegally moved without the PGC there either, but since you want to bring up the hunts, I will gladly dip into them.
What's funny is that you chose that to bring up out of everything I mentioned that you guys did that day. Not deny that you continually screwed with me and tried to strong arm me. Not that you shot both elk from the road, not any issue that I mentioned, just that he was 70. Like I said, your perfect client, someone that wants to parade around mountain roads all day, waiting to shoot one from the road.
And all of those vehicles were NOT just there to help with extraction. They ALL paraded Montour road ALL MORNING, nonstop. Wanna talk about scoffing me for shooting a cow out of that group of bulls, rather than congratulating me too? No "congrats" when talking to me by the road, rather "so you shot your cow and spooked the bulls, huh?", Coupled with head shaking....
My review is my review based on my experience with quehanna outfitters. You brought up the hunts, not me, so don't start you "unfounded" crap like before. The PGC never even followed up on what they were told, so it's hardly "unfounded". And you don't deny shooting the bull from the truck either....
